An interesting post for the right person, this position will involve working all over Scotland, including the Western and Northern Isles. A good deal of travel and the need to work extended hours at unsociable times is required, which is balanced by a flexitime system and a healthy remuneration package.
Working for the Managing Director and Survey Manager, you will:
- Have a full driving licence and be willing to travel.
- Be prepared to work long hours, often in Inclement Weather (PPE provided)
- Have a flexible approach to the working environment
Duties Include:
- Loading vehicles with site equipment.
- Erecting Video Cameras on Lighting Columns using ladders provided.
- Installing ATC Tube Counters
- Ensuring Site Staff have the correct equipment and are in the correct place at survey start time
- Manually recording data on site when required
- Carrying out routine maintenance of site equipment
- Making regular maintenance checks of your vehicle including cleaning/washing
- Entering data to Excel format when required
- Any other tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Data Collection Operation
Note – Full Driving Licence and a willingness to travel are essential. A vehicle will be provided.
As a team member , the successful applicant, once in post, may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job specification. This is normal practice within the office, and something to which the successful applicant agrees.
